Re: Commonwealth Colonial Developments
Following the end of the Lateran War, the colonial brigades in New England are mostly released and allowed to return to being part-time militia. Volunteers are taken into a single battalion of colonial troops to help patrol the frontier, to be accompanied by two battalions of regulars. The colonial battalion is inducted into service as the 1st New England Regiment.

Re: Commonwealth Colonial Developments
By 1725, the population of New England is truly starting to boom, especially as Irish Protestants and Scots-Irish fleeing the Stuarts move to the New World in large numbers - as well as Lambertia. The Commonwealth begins discussing establishing a more permanent military presence in Lambertia, as well as perhaps expanding the colonial regiments in New England.
